On March 5th, 1910 a great man was born. You might not know about him, but you’ve almost certainly enjoyed the fruits of his labor… or rather the noodles of his labor.
We’re talking, of course, about Momofuku Ando, the inventor of Ramen Noodles who would have turned 105 today had he not passed away in 2007.
From the instant version that got so many of us through those weekends in college when we didn’t have the budget for gas, alcohol, AND food, to the specialty restaurants all over the world that serve ramen so good I’m salivating just writing about it, Mr. Ando made a delicious contribution to our world.
We’d love to pay our respects in some small way, and so we’ve curated a collection of 25 mouthwatering Ramen photographs. Happy Birthday Mr. Ando!
